Seun Alli is a Lagos-based lawyer, art broker, curator, and cultural strategist. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with individuals, brands, and institutions to develop exhibitions, art collections, interactive installations, and community-driven projects. Her expertise spans exhibition curation, artist collaborations, audience engagement, and project management.

As a consultant, Seun represents diverse clients and initiatives, guiding investors on African art market trends through JCAA’s connoisseurship approach. Committed to cultural storytelling and industry growth, she fosters creative platforms that connect artists with new and existing audiences.

ART CONSULTANT

With a background in Communication and an MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display, and Collecting, Simsi blends strategic insight with a deep passion for the dynamic world of contemporary art. Committed to elevating African art on the global stage, she focuses on bridging cultures, amplifying narratives, and fostering a deeper appreciation for the continent’s rich artistic heritage.

ASSOCIATE: CURATORIAL RESEARCH AND PROJECTS

Toyosi currently provides key support for the curatorial, collection management and research work at JCAA. Her expertise strategically and creatively contribute to both in-house and commissioned projects.

Known for her strong communication skills, exceptional organization, and keen attention to detail, she thrives in dynamic environments, continuously learning and adapting. She also merges operational efficiency with a passion for the arts—ensuring that creative works reach the audiences and institutions that appreciate them most.

MUSEUM MANAGER

Theophilus is an administrator and operations specialist serving as Museum Manager of the Kuti Heritage Museum, Abeokuta, representing JCAA. With a background in Mathematics and Statistics, he brings a structured and analytical approach to museum management, combining operational oversight with strong administrative coordination.

His expertise spans institutional operations, inventory and asset management, and executive administration. At the museum, he oversees day-to-day operations with a focus on operational efficiency, collection care, and the preservation and presentation of the Kuti family legacy to the highest professional standards.

ASSOCIATE: OPERATIONS AND PROJECTS

Victor is a visual artist and exhibition operations coordinator whose practice extends into the technical production and spatial execution of cultural projects. A graduate of Fine and Applied Arts (Painting) from the University of Benin, with additional training in Production Design from EbonyLife Creative Academy, he brings a practical understanding of exhibition-making from both artistic and operational perspectives.

At JCAA, Victor supports exhibition operations, space management, installation coordination, and public programming across the organisation’s projects and venues. His work includes liaising with artists, fabricators, installers, and vendors, while ensuring the smooth day-to-day execution of exhibitions, events, and visitor-facing experiences.

PROJECT CONSULTANT

A detail-oriented arts professional with experience in project coordination, exhibition logistics, and operations management. For almost 4 years, Rita worked with JCAA as Associate: Project Management and Operations. She currently collaborates with JCAA on a project basis, supporting selected exhibitions and initiatives through her expertise in logistics, vendor relations, framing, and installation coordination.
